I’m glad you’ve found a better life for you here. But as an Indonesian myself, please don’t encourage the whole western civilization and cultures to move here, especially the so called modern ones. I’m not talking with hate towards anyone, instead I myself will welcome you with open arms, as long as you left your western mindset and not looking us as a subject, and cheap living costs. Respect our land, cultures, people, religions, and become one of us, not demanding we become yours.

Lady, you look so sweet and kind. Indonesians are raised to respect the elderly, especially women. The social norm is to always prioritize the seniors, and we respect our parents, especially our mother. We do not want to mess up with Mom, never, I think everywhere you go, people will be more than happy to help you. in Islam, great respect is given to both parents, but the mother is given a higher status. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of the mother by stating, “Your mother” three times when asked who deserves the most respect, and then mentioned “your father” fourth. The mother is the number one priority in terms of care and respect, and this will apply as well in our daily lives when seeing elderly women. Of course, there are also not-so-nice people even in Indonesia.

I am from Canada, and went to Jakarta in Feb, stunning people, food, culture, and so nice. Bandung was amazing, and I am coming back on Nov 17 to get married. My future wife wants to move to Canada but after seeing this and being there, I am yearning to move from Canada. Indonesians are even more friendly then Canadians, and what you pay for rent a month I pay for a single tank of gas here for 1 week. Thanks for your amazing video!
